CJ
PRESIDENTCJ began building his experience in excavation and sewer repair when he founded Zen-Ex LLC in May 2018. Through that work, he spent several years working alongside Charlie, the previous owner of Avalanche Septic Services, as a trusted subcontractor.
After gaining hands-on experience with excavation, sewer systems, septic work, and customer service, CJ purchased Avalanche Septic Services in the spring of 2024. Since taking over the company, he has focused on dependable service, honest communication, and continuing to build a strong local, family-run business.
CJ is proud to serve homeowners and businesses throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania and works closely with the Avalanche Septic team to make sure every job is handled professionally from start to finish.
PEYTON
LABORER & EQUIPMENT OPERATORI started with Avalanche Septic Services part-time in August 2025 and officially joined the team full-time in June 2026. I work alongside CJ most days, helping out as a laborer and equipment operator. Every now and then, you can also find me riding along in the pump truck, helping with septic tank pumping and servicing customers.
When I’m not working, I enjoy playing Xbox, going shopping, and spending time with my friends. I’m always up for a good time and enjoy being part of the Avalanche Septic Services team!
LUKE
SERVICE TECHLuke brings approximately 18 years of hands-on experience in septic service and related fieldwork. Before CJ purchased Avalanche Septic Services, Luke had already worked with the company for about two years, giving him valuable knowledge of its customers, equipment, and daily operations.
Luke continued with Avalanche Septic from the day CJ took ownership in the spring of 2024. Since then, he has remained a dependable part of the crew, helping with septic pumping, service calls, repairs, excavation work, and whatever else is needed to complete each job properly.
Known for his experience, strong work ethic, and practical knowledge, Luke takes pride in helping customers and supporting the Avalanche Septic team every day.
BILLY
DRIVERI started working for CJ part-time in 2022, driving dump trucks and semi-trucks as we worked to build a strong name for Zen-Ex. In 2023, I joined the company full-time, running dump trucks and operating several pieces of equipment until CJ purchased Avalanche Septic Services.
In September 2024, I moved over to the septic truck to help the company, and I have not looked back. When you call Avalanche Septic for a pump-out, there is a good chance I will be the person showing up and making sure the job is done right.
Outside of work, I am a DJ known as Center of Attention. I am also involved with youth football, soccer, and basketball. You may even see me at a cheer competition because I am a proud—and loud—cheer dad!
